The higher you go, the fewer people you can ask.

Wondering if you’re ready?

The role grew faster than anyone prepared you for, and asking for help feels like admitting it.

Leading a team you didn’t build?

Your people came with their own history and loyalties, and starting over isn't an option.

Afraid of dropping the ball?

You're doing the job and leading the people who do it, and some days it feels like you can't keep up with both.

No one to think out loud with?

The hard calls stay in your head, because there's no one inside the organization you can show uncertainty in front of.

Most leaders work through this by trial and error, with their team watching. Coaching gets you there faster, with someone in your corner the whole time.

Renovate the leader within, and your entire team feels the benefit.

Coaching is how organizations invest in the leaders they want to keep and grow. We don't change who you are. We sharpen the tools you already have, add the ones you're missing, and help you see all you can become as a leader.

What you get from executive coaching

Your biggest leadership goals attained.
You choose the 2-5 changes that matter most to you, and you reach them before coaching ends.

A sounding board for decision-making.
Someone outside your organization to think through the hard calls before you make them.

An honest read on how you are viewed.
How your team, peers, and manager experience you, in words you've likely never heard.

Privacy and confidentiality.

Your manager sees your plan. What you say in sessions stays with your coach.

A coach in your corner, a consultant for smart advice.

We're 70% coach and 30% consultant. We don't want you sitting there in a bunch of muck when we know we can help you.

How leadership coaching works from your side of the table.

Sessions stay between the leader and their coach. The goals are shared, so everyone knows where you’re headed and why.

1

Match

A short call about you and what you want, then a coach chosen for you from our team of ICF-credentialed coaches.

2

Launch

On most paths, three hours in person. Your manager joins the first hour to define success, then it's you and your coach.

3

Listen

Your coach interviews the people you work with, so your plan starts from how you're actually experienced.

4

Plan

You write your goals with your coach and sponsor, then meet regularly with your coach to work on them.

5

Prove

At the final debrief, you speak first and tell your manager how you've grown.

Launch format and 360° depth vary by path.

  • "I wish I had gone through this life-changing experience years ago"

The Renogize Professional Coaching program, literally changed my life! The coach helped me to connect with my inner being and increase my self-awareness while remaining true to my ‘true’ self. I told my coach repeatedly that I wish I had met him and gone through this life-changing experience years ago, as I would be a different leader. Moving forward, I will use the lessons he taught me in my dealings with others. I am humbled to have gained such insight from my coach.  “

  • "I am a better leader."

"As a new academic leader, it was critical to have guidance to help navigate the new territory of leadership. Sean Olson did not just provide the answers but showed me how to use my own skills and talents to lean in the good and challenging times. I learned the importance intentionality and accountability. I am a better leader."

“The leadership of IU Health provided me with an opportunity to have a personal leadership coach for a year. This developed into very productive relationship. The training helped me greatly to function better within my organization, interacting both with people who I report to and those who report to me. My coach helped me out of several tough corners. That year was particularly challenging with many rocks to sail through, and I am happy I had him on my side… Still call him when I am about to send some emotional email!”

Want a coach? Here’s how to ask for one.

Your organization usually funds executive coaching, and your manager (or board chair, at the C-suite level) is part of it. Start the conversation with them.

1

Name what you want to improve.
Pick one or two goals and why they matter to your work right now. See the list above for inspiration.

2

Show how it benefits the organization.
Your goals come with success measures, like a percentage of your workload delegated, and your sponsor reviews them with your coach during the engagement.

3

Be clear about the time requirement.
Your manager participates as your sponsor at key points of the process: part of the launch, check-ins, and the debrief. (Bonus: they get coached by proxy, too.)

4

Bring them to a conversation.
Book a Coaching Diagnostic together, and we will answer their questions directly.

Book a call with Renogize, your manager, and you to explore executive coaching.
