You promoted your best performer. Now they’re stuck in the muck, and so is their team.

They were great at the work, but leading the people who do it is a new job.

Feel like an imposter?

You had full confidence in how they were leading, but now seem to be out of their element. Do they feel like they belong in this role?

One habit getting in the way?

A strong leader with a blind spot or two, like jumping in with the answer or needing the last word. No one has pointed it out.

Putting out fires all day?

They moved up to lead leaders, but they still fix every problem themselves. They’re exhausted, and their team feels untrusted.

Stepping into big shoes?

Serving as an interim, or they’re following someone who held the role for years. Every call gets compared, and there’s no one safe to talk it through.

Leave it alone, and the team feels it first. The diamonds in the rough you’d hate to lose are the first ones out the door.

Person-focused, process-driven executive leadership coaching.

Executive leadership coaching is 1:1 coaching that helps a leader grow into the demands of a bigger role. Most firms offer a relationship or a program. We bring both: a coach who invests in the whole person, and a proven process that turns that investment into growth you can measure.

We don’t coach anyone to be the best plant manager or the best dean. We coach them to be the best version of who they already are, and the organization gets the benefit.

“Why is executive coaching vital for every organization? Because no individual has the capacity to make it on their own.”

1:1 Executive Coaching At a Glance

What It Is
1:1 executive coaching that’s 70% coach, 30% consultant. We draw out your best thinking, and we speak up with advice when a situation requires a stronger direction.

Who It’s For
Managers through C-suite executives in health systems, universities, government, and all corporate sectors.

What’s Included
A matched coach, an in-person launch, interview-based 360°, Everything DiSC® Management, a written Coaching Action Plan, twice-monthly sessions, sponsor check-ins, a debrief, and a six-month follow-up. Varies by path.

How It’s Delivered

Face to face for the launch and debrief, virtual in between. Four to twelve months, anywhere in the world.

Investment

A Tier 1 provider at a Tier 2 price, because we’re built to maximize impact, not profit.

Executive leadership coaching begins with the end in mind.

Sessions stay between the leader and their coach. The goals are shared, so everyone knows where they’re headed and why.

1

Match

A 30-minute conversation, then a deliberate pairing with the right coach from our team of 15. If coaching isn’t the right fit yet, we’ll say so.

2

Launch

Three hours, face to face. The leader’s sponsor joins the first hour to set the target. The rest is the leader and their coach, building rapport fast.

3

Listen

The coach talks with the people the leader works with. Real conversations, not a survey, so the plan reflects how they’re actually experienced.

4

Plan

Coach, leader, and sponsor together write 2-5 goals and how each one will be measured. The sponsor sees the plan and checks in periodically.

5

Prove

At the final debrief, the leader goes first: how have you grown? Then the sponsor, then the coach. Six months later, we check back in.

Launch format and 360° depth vary by path.

→ 30 minutes. Root issue identification, needs and fit assessment, and next steps.

Moving forward, I will use the lessons he taught me in my dealings with others. I am humbled to have gained such insight from my coach.  “

“The leadership of IU Health provided me with an opportunity to have a personal leadership coach for a year. This developed into very productive relationship. The training helped me greatly to function better within my organization, interacting both with people who I report to and those who report to me. My coach helped me out of several tough corners. That year was particularly challenging with many rocks to sail through, and I am happy I had him on my side… Still call him when I am about to send some emotional email!”

We will achieve the goals in the Coaching Action Plan set by the leader, their sponsor, and their coach within the length of the engagement using The Renogize Process.

We’ll tell you if it won’t work.

If someone isn’t ready to be coached, we’ll say so and turn the work down. We’ve done it before.

Start in weeks, not months.

Most engagements begin within 6-8 weeks. Big firms can take 6-8months.

We’ll stay in your corner after coaching ends.

Six months after the debrief, we come back to make sure the growth stuck.
